HakiRasilimali and Ms Training Centre for Development Cooperation (MSTCDC) are happy to launch the Cohort 1 for the Short course program: “Fundamentals of Community Led Advocacy in Mining, Oil and Gas Governance in Tanzania. The training will run from 27th September to 8th October 2021.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to;
1) To reduce the gap between theoretical and practical learning in the extractive sectors in Tanzania and facilitate knowledge and skills transfer between industry experts and citizens, especially community leaders from the host communities.
2) Gain skills and knowledge to be able to articulate key concepts and issues in the extractive sector.
3) Use acquired skills and tools to advance community led advocacy and enhance synergies within extractive sector spaces for improved policy and practice.

24 trainees have been identified representing regions whereby extractive operations are taking place.
